
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office intends to perform autopsies later today on two workers who were apparently electrocuted this morning in Murrysville.
The medical examiner's staff was still collecting information this morning and did not yet have the bodies.
Westmoreland County 911 reported that a call came in at 9:17 a.m. for three people shocked on McCloy Avenue. The condition of the third person was not immediately available. The victims were taken to Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville.
The local office of the U.S. Occupational Safety & Health Administration has dispatched a compliance officer to the scene.
"It was reported to us as a scaffold collapse," said Robert Szymanski, OSHA's area director, who was waiting for an initial report from his officer.
