Pirates promote Lincoln to Class A Lynchburg

The Pirates today promoted Brad Lincoln, their top pitching prospect and 2006 first-round draft pick, from low Class A Hickory to high Class A Lynchburg.

Lincoln was 5-5 with a 4.65 ERA in 11 starts for Hickory, coming off a year lost to elbow surgery.
