Second Homewood fire victim dies in hospital from burns

Kenneth Raiford, 56, whose mother Cora Raiford, was killed in a house fire Friday morning in Homewood, died that evening at West Penn Hospital, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office confirmed yesterday.

He had escaped from a pre-dawn fire but with burns over 60 to 80 percent of his body. Cora Raiford, 83, had lived in the house since 1966.
