The Steelers reached agreement today on three-year contracts with two of their 2008 draft picks.
Fourth-round selection Tony Hill, a 6-foot-5, 309-pound left tackle for the Texas Longhorns reached agreement with the team, sources said today. The deal includes a signing bonus of $304,500.
Fifth-round pick Dennis Dixon, a quarterback out of Oregon, also came to terms on a deal that includes a $130,000 signing bonus.
Dixon, the Pac-10 Conference's offensive player of the year, missed his final three college games with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. The Steelers have said they expect Dixon to be recovered from his injury in time for training camp.
