To watch: 7 p.m., ESPN.

Thursday

Steelers: No, nothing Steelers related is scheduled to happen. But on Thursday, Steelers training camp will be only 24 days away! Consider it a reminder, if you haven't made plans to visit Saint Vincent College in Latrobe to watch the Steelers in their annual summer ritual.

Friday

Pirates: It's the Fourth of July, and there's no better way to celebrate our country's independence than taking in an afternoon ball game. That happens Friday when the Pirates take on the Brewers in Milwaukee. Any win in this series will help the Pirates gain some much-needed ground in the National League Central. The Brewers are currently in third place with the Pirates trailing in fourth.

To watch: 2:05 p.m., FSN Pittsburgh.

Saturday

NASCAR: The Sprint Cup returns to Daytona for a night race in the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway.

Did you know: Dale Earnhardt Jr., left, won his first race of the season June 15 at Michigan and has a good chance of recording another victory at Daytona, where he has won twice.

To watch: 6:30 p.m., TNT.

Sunday

Wimbledon final: Roger Federer, who is trying to better Bjorn Borg's record of five consecutive Wimbledon titles from 1976-80, has a chance to prove wrong all the critics who said he appeared vulnerable after he had a bout with mononucleosis earlier in the year and was pummeled by Rafael Nadal in the French Open final.

To watch: Coverage starts at 9 a.m., WPXI.
