Aliquippa defensive lineman commits to Pitt
Tuesday, June 24, 2008
The Pitt football program received a third verbal commitment for its 2009 recruiting class, when Aliquippa's Juantez Hollins, a defensive lineman who will be a senior for the Quips in the Fall, committed to Pitt today.

Hollins chose Pitt over Marshall, Buffalo, Akron and Eastern Michigan. At 6 feet 4, 270-pounds, Hollins plays defensive end at Aliquippa -- where he is a three-year starter -- but will be shifted to the interior of the defensive line in college.

Hollins joins New Jersey running back Dion Lewis and Lakeview (Pa.) lineman Cory King as Pitt coach coach Dave Wannstedt's commitments for the Class of 2009.
