Pitt nominates 3 for trustees board membership

A panel of University of Pittsburgh trustees yesterday nominated three individuals for membership on the trustees board.

They are:

• Brian Generalovich, a Pitt graduate from both the School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Dental Medicine, a private practice dentist in Hermitage, Mercer County, and immediate past president of the Pitt Alumni Association.

• Dawne S. Hickton, a Pitt School of Law graduate and vice chair and CEO of RTI International Metals, Inc.

• Dan Marino, a Pitt School of Arts and Sciences alumnus who is also a college and pro football hall of famer, in-studio cohost of CBS-TV's "The NFL Today" and president of the Dan Marino Foundation.

The full trustees board will vote on the nominations Friday.
