Lake Erie: Austin Greathouse, 13, caught an 11-pound 4-ounce, 28 1/2-inch walleye last week with 17-inch girth on a crawler harness. Rough, chilly weather in recent days had slowed the fishing. As conditions allow, a numbers of walleyes were reported in 20 to 30 feet of water west of Walnut Creek, and in front of Trout Run and Elk Creek. Perch, including many jumbos, were in 30 to 40 feet, with anglers who can locate schools doing well. Panfish and largemouth bass were hitting in the bay, although water was becoming weedy.
