KDKA-AM news reporter Rob Milford has resigned following his arrest on Monday for carrying a loaded handgun into the Allegheny County Courthouse.

Mr. Milford, 53, was charged with carrying a firearm without a license and possession of a firearm in a court facility,

The station had suspended Mr. Milford earlier this week. He faces a preliminary hearing on July 26.
