Grilling with Gretchen: Try something new this summer
Thursday, June 19, 2008

Fourth of July fireworks almost always include some on the grill. And almost always include all-American standbys such as hotdogs, burgers and steaks. But your charcoal or gas grill is a friend to all foods. Everything from fish to vegetables and fresh fruit taste delicious grilled.

In the weeks leading up to America's birthday, grilling aficionado Gretchen McKay and videographer Steve Mellon will be showing you how to make some recipes that can get you out of a grilling rut -- on the Fourth and all season long. All are easy to make, healthful and best of all, a great way to get you out of a hot kitchen.

This week we start with two dishes from the sea. Watch Steve's video. Then try the recipes.
