AUDITIONS

Franklin Park -- Auditions for the Acts of God drama, "Spotlight on Broadway," will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Ingomar United Methodist Church, 1501 W. Ingomar Road. CONCERTS

Butler -- The Boilermaker Jazz Band will perform a free show at 7 p.m. Sunday at Butler County Community College Succop Theater.

Butler -- The family summer concert series, sponsored by the Butler County Park and Recreation Department, will hold a free concert at 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday in the Carousel Shelter in Alameda Park. This Tuesday's performance is by Trigger 6, a classic and southern rock band.

Butler -- Larry Morrison and Amanda Brewster will perform Celtic music Wednesday in the Butler County Symphony Association office, 259 S. Main St. The performance is part of the Concerts to Munch By series, every Wednesday through Aug. 20. Concerts will be broadcast in Diamond Park. ENTERTAINMENT

Marshall -- "Scooby Doo" will be screened in the Movie in the Park series, sponsored by the Township Parks and Recreation Department, at dusk Wednesday at the baseball field in Knob Hill Park. Free.

FESTIVALS

Hampton -- A festival will be held today through Saturday at St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, 2510 Middle Road. Festivities include games, rides, crafts, bingo and dinner. Hours are from 7 to 11 p.m. today and tomorrow, and 6 to 10:30 Saturday. Dinner will be served from 4:30 to 7 p.m.; $8 for adults, $4 for children.

O'Hara -- Boyd Community Center, 1220 Powers Run Road, will hold its free Summer Solstice event from 6 p.m. to dusk Saturday on the center's grounds. Bring a blanket. Activities will include live music with singer-songwriter Heather Kropf's Trio, a catered cookout, campfire and marshmallow roast at sundown, arts and crafts, nature walk and games. Butler/Pine/Shaler -- The American Cancer Society will hold its annual Relay for Life, a 24-hour event to celebrate survivors and raise funds for cancer research, on the following dates and times: noon to 9 a.m. Friday-Saturday at Pine-Richland High School, Pine; 10 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday-Sunday at Brady's Run Park, Butler; and 10 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday-Sunday at Shaler Titan Stadium, Shaler. Ohio Township -- B-Y-O-Dog to Animal Friends' "W(h)ine!" a wine-tasting from 6 to 8 p.m. June 27 and from 6 to 8 p.m. July 18 at Caryl Gates Gluck Resource Center, 562 Camp Horne Road. Shaler -- The Shaler Garden Club and Shaler North Hills Library will sponsor a local gardens contest. Participants may submit five photos of their garden plus a brief description of why it is special. All entries are due July 15. Winners will be announced Aug. 26. HEALTH

Richland -- Shingles vaccinations will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at St. Barnabas Medical Center, 5830 Meridian Road. Indiana Township --The Western Pennsylvania Mushroom Club will hold a mushroom walk from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Hartwood Acres. Meet Glenn Carr and Jean Petrisek at the parking lot in front of the mansion on the opposite side of the park from the performance center. Come 15-30 minutes early and socialize. Bring water, food and a basket or something to carry the mushrooms in, and wax or paper bags to store them. VOLUNTEERS

Areawide -- Volunteer drivers and dispatchers are needed for North Hills Community Outreach's Free Rides for Seniors program, a shuttle bus that operates weekdays on Freeport Road. Hampton -- North Hills Community Outreach will hold training for prospective Faith in Action volunteers at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at 1975 Ferguson Road. Volunteers provide nonmedical assistance to frail elderly individuals, allowing them to remain independent in their homes.
