Blasting will resume today, weather permitting, along Route 28 south of the Route 910 Harmar interchange about 10 a.m.

Route 28 and Freeport Road, will be closed in both directions beginning about 9:55 a.m. and lasting for about 20 minutes.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation also plans to conduct blasting at the same site and time Friday morning.

The work is part of PennDOT's continuing work on the rock slide-prone area.
