Altering false perceptions apparently not in the state budget

One of the unfair stereotypes of Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell is that he hates the Penguins. Sure he's essentially a mascot for all Philadelphia sports teams and the Penguins hardly had a smooth route towards securing a new arena through the state or local governments, but the reality is Rendell is probably just as responsible as anyone for ensuring the Penguins' future in Pittsburgh.

Regardless, perception can be reality and that "reality" was enforced somewhat when Rendell had the above picture of himself released sporting a Red Wings jersey and sucking down some Faygo "pop." No, Rendell didn't have Darren Helm in his fantasy pool. He was actually paying up on a bet with Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm.

While that photo might disgust you, it actually inspires us. Our goal in life now is to be important enough to be able to hire someone for the specific duty of holding up bumper stickers along side us as we consume beverages.
