TOMORROW

LAWRENCEVILLE: The Northside Leadership Conference and Community College of Allegheny County conduct a free workshop from 6 to 9 p.m. on "So You Think You Want To Work in a Casino?" for anyone interested in learning about casino employment. DOWNTOWN: Teams of volunteers and adoptable dogs take to streets from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for Animal Friends' annual Tag Day. Volunteers hand out information about the Ohio Township-based no-kill shelter and the importance of tagging and licensing pets, while their four-footed companions beg for donations and share puppy love. SATURDAY

NORTH SIDE: A community parade at 11 a.m. along Perrysville Avenue -- complete with military honor guard, marching bands and antique cars -- kicks off Citiparks' second annual Riverview Park Heritage Day. The parade travels from Perry Traditional Academy to a reviewing stand in Riverview Park. At 12:05 p.m., park festivities begin with dedication of the Chapel Shelter, followed by pony rides, a petting zoo, a pie-eating contest, visit from a roving art cart, health screenings, and other activities through 4 p.m. and free refreshments at 3 p.m. For more information, call 412-255-2493.

OBSERVATORY HILL: Incarnation Parish, 4071 Franklin Road, holds a flea market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; it reopens from 4 to 7 p.m. with all items at half-price. The market continues tomorrow with a bag sale from noon to 3 p.m. For more information, call 412-231-2139.

SQUIRREL HILL: Squirrel Hill Historical Society hosts a two-hour walking tour of the business district, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Sixth Presbyterian Church, Forbes and Murray avenues. Fee is $5. For reservations, call Mike at 412-417-3707.

WEST END: The youth education department of African Methodist Episcopal Zion Grace Church, 623 S. Main St., holds a yard sale and barbecue from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The sale includes appliances, books, small furniture and religious items.

SUNDAY

DOWNTOWN: Pittsburgh Dialogue Foundation hosts a presentation by Asli Sancar, author of "Ottoman Women, Myth and Reality," from 4 to 6 p.m. at YWCA of Greater Pittsburgh, 305 Wood St. The event includes a discussion of the role of women in Eastern societies and a book signing. NORTH SIDE: Commission Baptist Church, 2235 Federal St. extension, holds its annual Concert and Spring Revival today through June 10. The concert at 5 p.m. today features Ophelia Humphries and "Hallelujah" from Atlanta. The revival is at 7 p.m. June 9-10. Guest preacher is the Rev. Damien Searcy from Tabernacle of Glory Church in Nashville, Tenn.

STRIP DISTRICT: The Italian Cultural Institute of Pennsylvania's ninth annual Feast of St. Anthony of Padua Festival is at St. Stanislaus Kotska Church, 21st and Smallman streets. The event schedule includes: 10:30 a.m., music on the square; 11 a.m., Mass in Italian celebrated by Bishop Emeritus Anthony Bosco, Catholic Diocese of Greensburg, followed by the traditional procession of flags, banners and statue of St. Anthony. Also featured are food, dancing, a homemade wine contest, music, plus Italian specialties. For more information, call 412-471-4767.

UPTOWN: The Gaelic Arts Society presents an Irish High Tea at 1:30 p.m. at Epiphany Church's McDowell Hall, 1018 Centre Ave., across from Mellon Arena. Tea sandwiches, scones and desserts are on the menu. Cost is $12 per person. For reservations, call 412-761-1844.

UPTOWN: The Office of Admissions at Duquesne University, 600 Forbes Ave., hosts DuquesneFest for high school students and their families from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with registration from 8 to 9 a.m. Attendees can meet students and representatives from the university's admissions, financial aid, academic, administrative and student life areas.
