A 57-year-old Penn Hills man died following a single-vehicle accident in Verona, the Allegheny County medical examiner's office said today.

John Long was found shortly before 3 a.m. along Allegheny River Boulevard in front of the Riverside Shopping Plaza. The vehicle had apparently veered off the road and struck a rock wall alongside the road, the medical examiner's office said.

The cause and manner of death are pending.
