United Nations rep for atheists to speak tomorrow
Saturday, May 24, 2008

Austin Dacey, who represents atheists and secular humanists among the nongovernmental organizations with a voice at the United Nations, will speak tomorrow at 7 p.m. in the Parkway Center Inn, Green Tree.

Mr. Dacey is the author of "The Secular Conscience: Why Belief Belongs in Public Life," which criticizes many of his fellow unbelievers for abandoning the ideas of right and wrong.

At the United Nations he represents the secularist Center for Inquiry, and his visit is sponsored by its local chapter.

Admission is $6.
