Portersville -- The Northwest Pennsylvania Steam Engine and Old Equipment Association will be host to Spring Gas-Up, a steam and antique power show, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Portersville Show Grounds, Route 19. The show will feature a variety of old operating vehicles, old tractor pulls, train rides, flea market, blacksmith shop, demonstrations, contests and more. FUND-RAISERS


Cranberry -- Family Behavioral Services will hold a family fun night from 6 to 8:30 p.m. tomorrow at Haine Elementary School, 1516 Haine School Road, to raise money for autism research. Activities will include raffles, auctions, children's games and activities, refreshments and more. Tickets are $7; children age 3 and younger admitted free. Hampton -- A fund-raising car wash will take place from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of North Hills Community Outreach, 1975 Ferguson Road. From 5 to 8 p.m. the same day, St. Paul's United Methodist Church, located behind Community Outreach, will hold a ham dinner. Tickets are $8 for adults, $4 for children 9 and younger. Richland/West Deer -- St. Barnabas Charitable Foundation will hold a Pennies for Patients poker run and car cruise Sunday. Participants will visit five hosts along a 27-mile route, receiving a playing card at each stop; winning hands will receive prizes at the last stop, La Casa Narcisi Winery, Route 910, West Deer. Car cruise, entertainment and refreshments available from 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the winery. Registration fee is $10 a hand. Proceeds benefit St. Barnabas' Free Care Fund. Sewickley Heights -- Join TUDI Mechanical Systems as they raise money for "Heat For the Needy" with this annual golf classic June 30 at Sewickley Heights Golf Club, 126 Backbone Road. In the program, TUDI employees and their families volunteer time to install new furnaces in homes of needy families, at no cost to recipients.
