It rained on the parade a few different times last Saturday afternoon, but that didn't dampen the spirits of the 575 guests who turned out for the 10th anniversary of the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy Spring Hat Luncheon.

This year it was held in Frick Park, the site of the first hat luncheon, and longtime presenting sponsor PNC Financial Services was represented by its chairman and CEO, Jim Rohr.

He welcomed guests into the tent filled by Toadflax with a garden of growing flowers on the prettiest Lendable Linens.

The Duquesne Club served a selection of cold delicacies including a wonderful beet and ginger soup, but the real action was all the shoulder surfing to see who wore what.

More than $400,000 was raised to beautify our parks.
