Blasting in the slide-prone area along Route 28 south in Harmar will take place at 9 a.m. tomorrow, an hour earlier than this past Saturday.
Traffic will be stopped at 8:55 a.m. for 15 to 20 minutes in both directions on Route 28 and on Freeport Road, which runs parallel to the divided highway, although stoppages could be longer if more debris than anticipated must be removed.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation also said weather could postpone work until the next weekend.
