• Where: Smack dab in the middle of Downtown off Stanwix and the Boulevard of the Allies, between the mirrored spires of PPG Place.

• How much: Free, and it's relatively easy to find street parking on weekends.

• What to do: Entertain your children -- or the child in you -- amid the 140 columns of water that shoot up at various times to 15 feet high in the middle of PPG Plaza.

• There are a few rules: No bathing suits, towels or sunbathing on the plaza; no running; children must be supervised at all times; no bikes, skateboards or animals allowed on the plaza; and don't drink the water -- it is chemically treated and re-circulated.

• Fun factor: 10, if you're a kid at heart.
