L G Sourcing Inc. is recalling about 84,000 children's storage bins. Surface paint on the storage bins could contain excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard.
The recalled storage bins are wooden with scalloped edges and were sold in pastel green or pink. Item number 226782 (pastel green storage bin) or 226781 (pink storage bin) is located on the bottom of the storage bin.
Lowe's retail outlets sold the item from March 2007 through February 2008 for about $6.
Consumers should return the storage bins to any Lowe's store for a full refund.

QVC is recalling about 28,000 SoleusAir space heaters. The unit can overheat, posing a fire hazard to consumers.
The recalled heater is a 1,500 watt, black or charcoal-colored, canister-shaped space heater with three heat settings. The unit is about 25 inches high by 10 inches in diameter (not including the wheels). The words "SoleusAir 360 Micathermic Heater" are printed on a label located on the front of the unit.
The heater was sold on QVC's televised shopping programs and its Web site, and in QVC's Studio, employee and retail stores from December through March for between $65 and $80.
Consumers who purchased the heater through a QVC television program or QVC.com were mailed instructions on how to receive a refund. Consumers who have not received an information packet should contact QVC. Consumers who purchased the heater at a QVC store should return the heater to any QVC store to receive a refund.

Weil-McLain is recalling about 32,000 CGs and CGi gas boilers. If there is a leak in the vent piping, the recalled boilers can leak carbon monoxide (CO) into the buildings in which they are installed, posing a risk of CO poisoning.
The recall involves cast iron, gas-fired boilers used for space heating. The following boilers are included in the recall: model numbers CGs-3, CGs-4, CGs-5 and CGs-6 and serial numbers from CP 5071501 through CP 5694976, and model numbers CGi-3, CGi-5 and CGi-6 Series 2 and serial numbers from CP 4134351 through CP 5698635. The model name and serial number are located on separate labels on the outside of the left panel.
Plumbing and heating wholesale distributors sold the boilers to plumbers and contractors from October 2001 through December 2007 for between $1,700 and $2,700.
Consumers who have not been contacted, should contact their installer for a free safety inspection and repair, if necessary.

Onward Manufacturing Co. is recalling about 4,800 Broil King gas grills. The bottom of the cook box that contains the burners can melt or crack as a result of a grease fire. This poses a fire and burn hazard to consumers.
This recall includes the Signet, Sovereign and Sovereign XL series gas grills. The Signet series includes model numbers beginning with 986; the Sovereign series with model numbers beginning 987; and Sovereign XL series with model numbers beginning with 988. The model number can be located on the back panel of the grill.
Independent retailers sold the grills from February 2006 through April 2008 for between $450 and $700.
