Blasting in the slide-prone area along Route 28 south in Harmar will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday, an hour earlier than this past Saturday.
Traffic is to be stopped at 9:55 a.m. for 15 to 20 minutes in both directions on Route 28 and on Freeport Road that runs parallel to the divided highway, although if could be longer if more debris than anticipated must be removed.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation also said that weather could postpone work until next weekend.
