An individual confessed Monday to the latest round of graffiti Saturday and Sunday in the business district.

Mr. Maloy was stopped by an officer on Washington Pike, who placed him in a police vehicle because of suspected driving under the influence of alcohol. He then proceeded to kick a window of the police car out and attempted to get out of the car while it was moving, police said. He also fought with officers when they tried to place him in another police car.
A police officer was kicked in the hand and a police car window damaged in the incident.
