AUDITIONS


Carnegie -- Auditions will be held at 7 p.m. May 18-19 in Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall, Beechwood Avenue, for the Stage 62 July production of "Urinetown." Those auditioning should be at least 16. Phone 412-429-6262.

CLASSES


Beaver Falls -- The Center for Creative Arts Expression, 1217 Seventh Ave., will offer classes in scrapbooking and stamping for adults, along with several youth programs, including a comic book class. Call 724-847-5640.

Robinson -- Carlynton Swim Club will offer classes for certification and re-certification for lifeguarding and cardiopulmonary resuscitation at Carlynton High School pool. Lifeguard certification will be at 7 p.m. Monday through next Thursday and May 19-21. All must attend the session Monday.

CPR classes will be May 17. Re-certification will be at 9 a.m. and certification will be at noon. Costs vary. Call 412-215-2766.

CONCERTS


Robinson -- A benefit recital will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Holy Trinity Church, Steubenville Pike. Steven Cosnek, Sarah Hager and Rich Moser will perform classical and Broadway music. Attendance is free, but donations will benefit the church choir.

FUND-RAISERS


Bridgewater -- Radio and television producer and talk-show host Chris Moore will be the guest speaker at a benefit luncheon for Midland's West End Renaissance Committee at 11 a.m. Saturday at Jeffries Landing restaurant. Tickets are $22 for adults and $10 for children younger than 10. Call 724-643-6711.

Coraopolis -- The Kiwanis Club of Coraopolis will hold its annual Desserts and Card Party at 7 p.m. Saturday in Juniors Restaurant Banquet Room, Fifth Avenue. Tickets are $4 at the door. There will be a ticket auction, raffle and door prizes.

LIBRARIES


Green Tree -- Marilyn Cocchiola Holt will speak at a session on the process of searching for family roots at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Green Tree Public Library, 10 W. Manilla Ave. She is head of the Pennsylvania Department of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh and president of the Pennsylvania Genealogical Society. There is no charge, but registration is necessary at 412-921-9292.

Moon -- A Creative Cupcake Contest will be at 2 p.m. May 18 at Moon Township Public Library, 1700 Beaver Grade Road. Registration is due by next Thursday. Call 412-269-0334. Also, a program for parents about children's readiness for preschool will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Call the library to RSVP.

ON STAGE


Carnegie -- A dinner theater play called "Am I?" will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at Carnegie United Methodist Church, 415 Washington Ave. Cost is $20. To RSVP, call 412-279-3020.

REGISTRATIONS


Crafton -- Carlynton Little Cougars Football Association will hold registration for players and cheerleaders, ages 7 to 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Crafton Community Center, above the library, 140 Bradford Ave. Visit www.littlecougars.org for registration details.

SALES


Beaver -- The annual plant sale by Beaver County Penn State Master Gardeners will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in Irving Park, Third Street.

Coraopolis -- A rummage sale will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in Coraopolis United Methodist Church, 1250 Ridge Ave. Proceeds benefit the Junior-Senior High Youth Ministry.
