Nate McLouth, batting second behind Freddy Sanchez for a change, hit two more home runs and drove in three runs to help Zach Duke and the Pirates beat San Francisco, 12-6, tonight at PNC Park.
Duke pitched into the eighth inning and picked up his first win of the season.
Sanchez, a career .346 hitter in the leadoff spot, had three hits, scored twice and drove in two runs.
Sean Burnett made his first big league appearance since Aug. 21, 2004, relieving Duke in the eighth. Burnett yielded two hits, including a three-run home run by former Pirate Jose Castillo.
