During recent holiday seasons, J. Crew offered Cashmere of the Month and Tie of the Month clubs. The programs were so successful that the brand recently decided to try the same thing with women's shoes.

For $1,800, club members will receive a pair of shoes each month pre-selected by J. Crew's design team.

It could be a colorful ballet flat one month, a funky pump the next. You get to decide up front whether you want over the course of the year a flat each month, a pump or a combination .

If the shoe doesn't fit, it can be exchanged for a more comfortable size in the same style. But there's no swapping out a design (unless they're out of your size!).
