Q.Can you give me the status of Dallas Baker and what the Steelers have planned for him in the future. I was certain that he would contribute to the team but obviously that has not been the case.

BOUCHETTE: The Steelers drafted Baker, who played at Florida, on the seventh round in 2007. He did not make the team but was on the practice squad last season. He is 6-3 and his coaches say he steadily improved and Ben Roethlisberger recently made mention of him as a possible "tall" receiver for him. They drafted 6-4 Limas Sweed on the second round last week. That means Baker likely will compete for the fifth roster spot for a wide receiver, along with Willie Reid.
