The Steelers Wednesday signed undrafted rookie free agent defensive lineman Kyle Clement from Division II Northwood University (Michigan).

Clement, listed at 6-feet-4 and 266 pounds, was a two-time first-team all-conference selection in 2005 and 2007, along with a second-team selection in 2006. He finished his career with 143 tackles, 50 1/2 tackles for loss and 20 1/2 sacks.

He will participate in the team's mandatory three-day minicamp beginning Friday.
