Steelers Q&A with Ed Bouchette
Saturday, April 26, 2008

Q: I keep hearing about what the Steelers need. I think the answer must be receivers. Outside of Heath Miller and Hines Ward, do you think the Steelers receivers could start for any other team in the league? They put no pressure on the defense, therefore all effort goes into defending the running game.

Bill Klein, Sanford, Fla.

BOUCHETTE: Santonio Holmes averaged 18.1 yards, the highest in the NFL, on 52 receptions last season, his second in the league. I think he's on the rise and could start for many teams in the league. Yes, the Steelers could use another receiver, but I would not waste my first-round draft pick on one. You can find receivers elsewhere in this draft, and I don't like the ones who would fall to the Steelers at No. 23 because I think you'd be drafting them too high.
