Pittsburgh Presbytery, Memorial Park settle

The Pittsburgh Presbytery voted yesterday to accept a $575,000 settlement with Memorial Park Presbyterian Church that will allow the church to leave the denomination and maintain control of its name and McCandless property and buildings.

The vote, 152-82, took place at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.

Memorial Park was dismissed from the Presbyterian Church (USA) to join the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
