Q: I hear that Craig Bokor has moved from offense to defense again. I was wondering if this is going to finally be his home. I would also like to know how he has been doing, will he make it on the depth chart?
Jared Vallecorsa, Monaca
ZEISE: He's played very well during the spring and he's made a lot of plays and coaches have been pleased with him. He could get a little playing time, but again, cracking the lineup at defensive tackle without an injury to someone else is just not going to be easy. There is Rashaad Duncan, Mick Williams, Gus Mustakas and Tommie Duhart all ahead of him and a kid like Myles Caragein pushing for playing time alongside of him as well.
Q: There has not been a lot of talk about Kevan Smith so far in camp. In all reality though, he may end up being the backup if they redshirt Bostick. Is there any chance that he will log some playing time this year or is it pretty much going to be the Billy Stull show?
Steve Blahovec, Shadyside
ZEISE: Kevan Smith is coming along but he still seems to get the jitters in the backfield and that affects his decision-making. Unless he can work that out, he isn't going to be very effective as a quarterback. In the drills, however, he clearly is the most physically gifted of the group. Bill Stull has played well enough that he's proven he is back from his injury and I really think he'll be a good quarterback. He's a smart player, he's gritty and tough and he doesn't try to do things he's not capable of. And I'd say if he does win the starting job, which I expect him to, a redshirt for Bostick is probable.
Q: Conredge Collins is a lock at the FB position, but I haven't heard a peep out of Henry Hynoski this Spring. From what you've seen, does he get some playing time and does he have the offensive skills we're hoping for?
Chris Anitori, Powell, Ohio
ZEISE: Hynoski is behind Collins and Shane Brooks, but he is playing a lot this spring because Collins is hurt. I think he could be used some in the goal line packages because he is indeed a bulldozer and he's proven he can get those one or two tough yards after he is initially hit.
