Pitt football player suspended

Pitt defensive back Sherod Murdock has been suspended indefinitely for disciplinary reasons.

University of Pittsburgh athletic department spokesman E.J. Borghetti said the school has no further comment on the incident which led to his suspension.

Murdock, is a 6-foot, 170-pound redshirt freshman from Tampa. He is competing for one of the reserve safety spots.
