ART


Sewickley -- Sweetwater Center for the Arts, 200 Broad St., will present Celebrate Sewickley, tomorrow through April 26. The annual art exhibition, auction and fund-raiser features artwork from residents and others depicting the town of Sewickley. A free reception during the spring gallery walk tomorrow will include wine and hors d'ouevres. FUND-RAISERS


Ben Avon Heights -- A group of North Allegheny teachers, staff members, spouses and friends will hold a fund-raiser for autism research, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. May 16 at Shannopin Country Club on Windmere Road. All proceeds will benefit Walk Now For Autism. Tickets are $75 each and include hors d'oeuvres, an open bar and musical entertainment. Tickets are limited. McCandless -- North Allegheny Senior High School Key Club will hold a fund-raiser to benefit the Children's Craniofacial Association at 6:45 p.m. today in the school auditorium, 10375 Perry Highway. The event will kick off with a presentation by Dr. Joseph Losee and Dr. Lisa Vecchinoe, of Children's Hospital's Cleft-Craniofacial Center. Pine -- Pine-Richland Middle School Leaders' Club will hold a senior bingo and picnic dinner at 3:45 p.m. April 24 in the Spirit Room at the school district stadium on Warrendale Road. Franklin Park -- Unitarian Universalist Church of the North Hills, 2359 W. Ingomar Road, will celebrate the official opening of its newly renovated space the weekend of April 18-20. Vocalist and classical guitarist Jim Scott will perform at 7:30 p.m. April 18. On April 19, the congregation will celebrate Earth Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a barn warming that has activities for all ages. Weather permitting, Marburger Dairy will bring young calves to bottle feed. Children can also enjoy games, face painting, crafts and seed planting.
