Monessen
Guard, 5-6, Senior
Chukwuedo finished her high school career with 1,175 points, she was named to the first team on the Associated Press Class A All-State team. This past season, Chukwuedo averaged 19 points, 4.7 rebounds and 5.1 assists a game. She was the leading vote-getter among coaches in Section 3-A and paced Monessen to a 27-2 overall record, the section title and the WPIAL championship game. Moved to Monessen from Texas after her sophomore year.
EMILY CORREAL
Peters Township
Forward, 6-3, Junior
She was a starter for the third consecutive season and has already received a number of Division I scholarship offers. Correal averaged 21.3 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks a game in leading the Indians to a 21-9 record and a spot in the WPIAL Class AAAA championship game. She was named to the third-team on the Associated Press Class AAAA All-State squad. She has scored 1,342 points for her career and could reach the 2,000-point plateau with big senior season.
JOCELYN FLOYD
Washington
Guard, 5-8, Junior
One of two Washington High School players on the PG Washington Edition Fab Five, she was the leading vote-getter in Section 5-AA this past season. A versatile athlete who was comfortable at guard or forward, Floyd averaged 16.4 points and 6.5 rebounds a game this season after averaging 12 points a game as a sophomore at Mount De Chantal Academy in Wheeling. In her first season as a starter for the Little Prexies, she helped the team to a 24-3 overall record and the Section 5-AA title.
JENNA PHILLIPS
Washington
Guard, 5-9, Senior
This is her second year on the PG Washington Edition Fab Five. Like teammate Floyd, Phillips played both guard and forward. She averaged 13.8 points and 5.6 rebounds a game this past season after averaging 14.4 points, 8.8 rebounds and 3.2 steals a game as a junior. Finished her high school career with more than 1,000 points. Undecided on a college for next year, she has received attention from Division II and III schools. She also plays a key role for the school's softball team.
EMILY SCHARTNER
Ringgold
Guard, 5-11, Junior
A rangy guard with a nice shooting touch, Schartner was arguably the top player in Section 4-AAA this past season. A two-year starter, she averaged 15.2 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in leading the Rams of coach Joe Ravasio to a 17-8 overall record and a share of the section title with Chartiers Valley. As a sophomore she averaged 11.8 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists a game. With her senior season still to play, Schartner has already scored 946 career points.
