Stylebook: Sean Combs helps Dress for Success
Monday, March 31, 2008

Hip-hop impresario Sean "Diddy" Combs, owner of the Sean John streetwear brand, has designed a limited-edition silk scarf for women and matching pocket square for men to benefit Dress for Success.

The accessories help promote the "Something to Share" campaign and incorporate burnt orange, royal blue, platinum, cream and gold to complement all skin hues, symbolizing a universal call for diversity.

The scarf incorporates a crescent motif from the Dress for Success logo and chains that represent emotional ties to the organization, an international nonprofit that seeks to help women become self-sufficient and successful in a career by providing professional clothing, employment-retention programs and other support.

The scarf is $30 and the pocket square is $25 at somethingtoshare.org. All proceeds benefit Dress for Success.

Combs is launching the campaign alongside Diageo, a spirits, beer and wine company.

The "Something to Share" campaign, aimed at establishing a community of people helping people, culminates April 9 in New York City at the annual Dress for Success gala.

Storytelling

Got a great story you're willing to share about pregnancy, menopause or the first sign of aging? Redbook magazine and Curel Skincare are having a contest to find the most touching or humorous stories about life's changes.

To enter, visit Curel.com/lifestages.

The deadline to enter is April 30.

Three winners will win trips to New York City and will have their stories published on redbookmag.com.

The contest coincides with the launch of three Curel Skincare Life's Stages body creams and lotions aimed at addressing those three stages in women's lives.

Each contest entrant will receive a free sample of the lotions.
