Penguins: Proof that the schedule-maker loves soap operas: The club finishes the season with two games vs. the rival Philadelphia Flyers today and Sunday.
Did you know: With his 11th career shutout March 25 against the New Jersey Devils, goalie Marc-Andre Fleury tied Les Binkley for second on the Penguins' all-time list.

Major season: The Masters and the azalaeas at Augusta are still a week away. The women take center stage as Lorena Ochoa, Annika Sorenstam and the other top women's golfers tee off in the Kraft Nabisco Championship -- the season's first major -- in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
Did you know: Sorenstam is one of three three-time winners of the event that formerly bore Dinah Shore's name. The others: Amy Alcott and Betsy King.

Helmet heads: It's been two months since the Super Bowl and it's still almost a month until the NFL draft. Hollywood and George Clooney offer a bit of offseason football with the premiere of "Leatherheads," a playful look at the game's professional roots.
Did you know: Clooney went to a high school in Kentucky that was so small (23 pupils) it couldn't field a football team.

Final Four: How many "Remember the [fill in the blank]" story lines can we expect when the last four teams standing in this year's NCAA men's basketball tournament arrive in San Antonio, home of the Alamo, for the national semifinals?
Did you know: North Carolina's Roy Williams and Louisville's Rick Pitino went into their East Region final looking to become only the sixth coach to take five teams to the Final Four. UCLA legend John Wooden is No. 1 with 12.

Philly finale: The playoff-bound Penguins conclude their regular season in Philadelphia against the Flyers with any number of things potentially on the line, including the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, their playoff opponent and Evgeni Malkin's chances for the NHL scoring crown.
Did you know: How important has Malkin been to the Penguins in the second half? Since Jan. 18, the Penguins are 2-6-2 when he doesn't score a point.
