The Western Pennsylvania Kennel Association will host its two annual shows tomorrow and Sunday at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, Downtown.
The Beaver County Kennel Club will host two days of agility competition, which includes dogs leaping over hurdles and running through tunnels. There will also be obedience competition.
A "Meet the Vet" booth, which has been popular in past years, will be staffed by local veterinarians offering free advice. New this year is a booth called "Meet the Breeds" with breeders offering advice about their breeds.
The shows will open both days at 7 a.m. and close at 5 p.m., but the group and best in show judging generally starts at 2 or 3 p.m.
Admission is $9 for adults and $4 for children younger than 12.
