Traffic on southbound Interstate 79 will be reduced today to a single lane from the Wexford-Bayne Interchange (Exit 73) to the Nicholson Road overpass south of the I-79 split.

The closures begin at 9 a.m. and will continue through 6 a.m. Monday while state Department of Transportation crews conduct concrete patching.

Northbound I-79 traffic will not be affected.

Similar restrictions will take place on I-79 during the April 4 weekend.
