Three men forced their way into a woman's home on the North Side yesterday and stole her purse, police said.
The 27-year-old woman heard someone knocking on the door of her residence on the 2800 block of Breker Street in Marshall-Shadeland at around 2:45 p.m., police said.
When she opened the door, a man wearing a blue bandana, black jeans and a black hooded jacket rushed in and shoved her to the floor , making her lie on her stomach, police said.
The woman said she thought she felt a gun barrel pressed against her back while two other men entered the home.
The purse that was taken contained her credit cards, cell phone and identification.
She described the man who first entered as a 5 foot 9, 180-pound black man.
City police are investigating the incident.
