The Children's Museum and Northside Leadership Conference will co-host a presentation and discussion of plans to return some of the street grid to Allegheny Center, with urban designer Doug Suisman and landscape architect Andrea Cochran, at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The session will be held at the conference's offices in the East Commons Professional Building at 4 Allegheny Center.
Mr. Suismon has led neighborhood discussions in the past year about revitalizing what became known as Allegheny Center in the 1960s -- a mall around which a traffic circle bypassed the public square that had served as the hub of Allegheny City, which is now the North Side.
A discussion and break-out sessions will follow the presentations. For more information, call 412-586-6026 or email jhorner@pittsburghkids.org.
