Where: Through May 30 at the Special Collections Library, first floor of the Joe Paterno Library at Penn State University's main campus in University Park, Centre County.

How much: Free and open to the public.

Hours: Through May 2: 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays; 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Fridays. After May 2: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays-Fridays.

  

What to do: View an exhibit of letters from author Ernest Hemingway to his family, including a message on a 1918 postcard to his father that, according to The Associated Press, foreshadows the experiences that would become the foundation for "A Farewell to Arms." Fun factor: Depends on what you call fun.
