BRADENTON, Fla. -- Freddy Sanchez, who hasn't played in the field all spring because of lingering soreness from September shoulder surgery, is in the lineup at second base for tonight's Pirate game against the New York Yankees.
Presumably, that means Sanchez is 100 percent.
"We'll find out," Sanchez said.
The game is the first night game in the 85-year history of McKechnie Field. The first night game was to have been played March 7 against Cincinnati but was rained out.
More details in tomorrow's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
