-Things aren't exactly hunky-dory between Islanders goaltender Rick DiPietro and head coach Ted Nolan.
-They need to pay all those fines somehow. The Flyers will raise their ticket prices next season.
Northeast Division
-Vesa Toskala made 18 saves for the Maple Leafs who edged the Flyers, 3-2.
-Maple Leafs forward Mats Sundin suffered a muscle strain during the game.
Southeast Division
-Alexander Ovechkin scored his 55th and 56th goals of the season and led the Capitals to a 3-2 win against the Flames. Goaltender Olaf Kolzig recorded his 300th career win.
-Cam Ward made 25 saves while Eric Staal had a goal and two assists for the Hurricanes in a 3-0 shutout of the Blackhawks.
-Brett McLean had a goal and an assist for the Panthers in a 4-2 win against the Islanders.
Central Division
-Blackhawks forward Martin Havlat is scheduled to have surgery on his chronically injured shoulder today.
-The Blue Jackets named forward Rick Nash their captain. He takes over for defenseman Adam Foote who was dealt at the trade deadline.
-Blackhawks defenseman James Wisniewski was suspended for one game for cross-checking Red Wings forward Mikael Samuelsson in the face Tuesday.
-Red Wings goaltender Dominik Hasek is dealing with a sore back.
Pacific Division
-Todd Marchant and Travis Moen each had a goal and an assist for the Ducks in a 4-1 defeat of the Canucks.
-Things aren't really working out for goaltender Dan Cloutier with the Kings.
