Two men died overnight when their pickup truck crashed into a home in Seward, the Westmoreland County coroner's office reported.

The driver, James Foster of New Florence, lost control of the truck at 10:30 p.m. while driving north on Route 711 and Hedges Street. The truck left the road and slammed into the side of a house.

No one inside the home was injured, authorities said.

Mr. Forster and his passenger, Jon Barlak, 21, of Armagh, Indiana County, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are investigating whether the truck was speeding.
