A NOTABLE VISITOR

• Harrigan's Cafe & Wine Deck in Johnstown is hosting a very special guest: David Waltuck, chef/owner of Chanterelle, a celebrated New York restaurant, will be preparing dinner March 14 as part of Harrigan's ongoing celebrity chef series. Seatings will begin at 5:30 p.m. Chef Waltuck's a la carte menu will feature his delicate, stylish French-inspired cuisine. Karen Waltuck, the chef's wife and co-owner of Chanterelle, also will be attending. Menu and price will not be set until immediately prior to the event. For reservations, call 814-361-2620.

A ROYAL TASTING

• Morton's The Steakhouse Downtown will host an Imperia Russian Vodka & Caviar event at 6 p.m. Friday. Guests will enjoy a variety of Morton's specialty cocktails made with Imperia Russian vodka, paired with Petrossian Caviar, Sliced Smoked Salmon, Tuna Tartare Canapes and Morton's Sliced Tenderloin on Crostini. $45 per person, includes tax and gratuity. • The SouthSide Works' McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurant will host a special dinner featuring wines from J. Lohr Winery at 6 p.m. Tuesday. • Andora restaurant in Ohio Township will be featuring wines from Australia at its wine dinner Monday. Enjoy chef Sean Jackman's five-course menu paired with wine, along with a presentation by Kathryn Settembre-Kowcheck of Capital Wine and Spirits.
