The Penn State Beaver women's basketball team, in its initial season, has reached the final four of the Penn State University Athletic Conference.
Penn State Beaver (19-8) defeated PS Hazelton, 76-64, Tuesday night at home to earn the trip to University Park, Pa. It will play PS Brandywine at 8:30 p.m. tomorrow with the final set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Against Penn State Hazelton, Jasmine Green had a big game with 13 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists.
Geneva College
Geneva's women's team (20-6) is coming off a loss to Mt. Vernon Nazarene in an NCCAA Eastern Regional semifinal. Geneva has to wait until Sunday to learn whether it will receive an at-large bid to the NCCAA national tournament March 13-15.
Allyson Clarke, a South Side Beaver graduate, is averaging 18.4 points and 10.8 rebounds a game for Geneva.
