Pitt women roll past Georgetown

The Pitt women's basketball team closed out its regular season with a 70-33 victory against Georgetown tonight at the Petersen Events Center.

Senior Marcedes Walker became the all-time leader in career rebounds at Pitt with 1,114 after pulling down 10 against the Hoyas. Walker also led the Panthers with 16 points.

Senior Karlyle Lim had a career-high six assists and senior Mallorie Winn had nine points, bringing her within 28 points of 1,000 for her career.

The Panthers finished the regular season 20-9 and were 10-6 in the Big East. The conference tournament begins Saturday in Hartford, Conn.
