Xenia Stewart and Shavonte Zellous each added 13 points each for the Panthers.
Pitt's Mallorie Winn distributed a career record-tying nine assists.
She also contributed by adding six points, four rebounds and three steals.
Pitt got off to a stellar start, hitting its first eight shots from the field and building an 18-2 lead.
The Bulls then used a 20-10 run to get back into the contest, but the Panthers held a 34-28 lead at halftime.
Pitt shot 59.3 percent from the field in the first half, but it wasn't enough to push the Panthers to the victory as they were done in by a South Florida surge that was capped by Grace's late-game heroics.
Pitt will play at 7 p.m. tomorrow at the Petersen Events Center against Georgetown in their final home game this season.
The game will mark Senior Night and coach Agnus Berenato's program will honor three seniors -- Walker, Winn and Karlyle Lim.
