Cause for Seneca Valley campus lockdown unknown
Wednesday, February 20, 2008

The secondary campus in the Seneca Valley School District was locked down yesterday morning while police investigated an incident in the township.

Jackson Police Chief Len Keller said the school was locked down from about 8:45 to 10 a.m. as a precaution because at first police didn't know if the situation, whatever it was, happened inside or outside the school.

Ultimately, it was determined to be outside and school continued as normal through the lockdown.

The secondary campus has three schools for grades 7-12.

When asked about the incident, the chief said, "I'm not going to talk about it."
