Lunar eclipse tomorrow night
Tuesday, February 19, 2008

The only total lunar eclipse of 2008 will start at 8:40 p.m. tomorrow and will reach total eclipse around 10 p.m. -- and the Buhl Observatory at Carnegie Science Center may be the perfect vantage point for observers. Weather permitting, there will be a free guided viewing of the eclipse starting at 8 p.m. Participants will learn about using a telescope and about notable objects in the night sky.

Visitors should call 412-237-3400 tomorrow to confirm that weather conditions will permit viewing.
